Free Child Development Checks with Playgroup SA’s child development team are coming to Marion Libraries!

Playgroup SA has partnered with the Department of Education to trial a new way offer families child development checks for their children aged 12 months 5 years.

The first five years of life are critical for child development. Healthy development during these builds a strong foundation child’s future learning and their adult life.

The check can identify a child’s strengths, as well any concerns or areas requiring further assessment to help parents better support their development.

To provide you with information, answer questions and register interest, they will be visiting:

Cove Civic Centre on Tuesday 27 August at 11am
Park Holme Library on Wednesday 7 August at 10:30am
Marion Cultural Centre on Thursday 22 August at 10:30am

They will then return the following week to complete the check and if needed, discuss ways to support your child's development.
