These 21 individuals have experienced a wonderful and empowering journey in both their personal and professional development. Between August and December, the graduates have not only learnt a lot more about council, but also emotional intelligence, resilience, public speaking, conflict resolution, communication, networking and much more.
Last night the audience heard how this program has changed, influenced, challenged, and encouraged each participant to take a lead in their community and make a real difference.
The audience also heard about the connections people have made with each other, how feeling uncomfortable is a good thing and where learning occurs, alignment of their values and the positive changes already made within their street, personal lives, community groups, and workplaces.
