Tree Tags

Urban trees provide enormous value to our lives by providing oxygen for us to breathe, habitat for wildlife and shade to keep us cool!

Tree Tags have been placed on selected trees in the City of Marion to highlight their environmental benefits.

Tree Tags include:

• height and age
• pollution removing capacity
• area of shade
• oxygen output for humans to breathe
• carbon dioxide removal from the atmosphere
• unique features e.g. nesting hollows, cultural features, etc

You can find Tree Tags at the following locations:

• Warripari Sturt River Linear Trail
• Oaklands Wetland and Reserve
• Warriparinga Wetlands

Go for a walk or hop on your bike and enjoy the the Warripari Sturt River Tree Trail!

Please note that the tree tag numbers 6 and 10 have been removed.
