Entry fees

• The Marion Outdoor Pool is a smoke, vape and alcohol-free area, and anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not permitted in the Centre.

• Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an appropriate fee-paying adult, 16 years or older.

• Children under 10 must be supervised according to the Watch Around Water policy at all times.

• No pets or animals are permitted into the facility, with the exemption of certified Assistance Dog.

• Food and drinks must be consumed away from the water.

• Patrons must walk around all pool areas, no running.

• All facility users must adhere to the Marion Outdoor Pool photographic and videographic devices policy.

• No camera or mobile phone use inside the change rooms.

• The Marion Outdoor Pool is a glass free facility. All glass items are prohibited.

• Only persons who have been approved in writing by the Marion Outdoor Pool can conduct coaching and/or private lessons at the facility.

• Abusive/disruptive or offensive behaviour and language is not permitted.

• Persons noncompliant with any of these conditions may be asked to leave at the discretion of Marion Outdoor Pool staff. Patrons asked to leave the centre will not be reimbursed for any fees paid.

• Marion Outdoor Pool staff reserve the right to refuse entry.

• The Centre reserves the right to take the following actions whenever reasonably necessary:

- Temporarily close off any part of the premises or isolate specific equipment for safety purposes.

- Modify the hours of operation or adjust the class timetable based on demand.

• The hirer where appropriate, shall ensure that it is licensed or registered to carry out the activity authorised by the issuing of the hire agreement.
• The hirer shall comply with and give all notices required by any Act of Parliament, Ordinance, and Regulation or by-law relating to the activity.
• The hire space will be allocated by Marion Outdoor Pool staff. No other areas can be used or altered without the approval of authorised staff.
• The hirer shall ensure that it leaves the area in a clean, tidy, and unaltered condition at the end of completion of their hire time. Failure to do so will result in a surcharge covering cleaning/repairs etc.

• Nothing is to be affixed to the walls, floors, fences, or fixtures of the facility without the approval of Marion Outdoor Pool staff.

• The Marion Outdoor Pool facility reserves the right not to accept any event.
• The hirer agrees to indemnify and to keep indemnified City of Marion (the council), its servants and agents, and each of them from and against all actions, costs claims, charges, and expenses whatsoever which may be bought or made or claimed against them or any of them, arising out of any hirer negligent act or omission in relation to the hire agreement.
• City of Marion agrees to indemnify and to keep indemnified the hirer, its servants and agents and each of them from and against all actions, costs claims, charges, and expenses whatsoever which may be bought or made or claimed against them or any of them, arising out of any council neglect act or omission that council has reasonable control in relation to event activity.
• City of Marion will not be held financially liable for any decision to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances where the safety of patrons may come into question. This includes such circumstances such as unforeseen plant and equipment failure, water chemistry problems, natural disasters, power outages and weather conditions.
• As an outdoor pool we are subject to the daily weather conditions, closures may occur in extreme storm and lightening conditions and when temperatures exceed 38 degrees.
• Persons assisting with setting up equipment do so at their own risk.
• Any equipment/structures brought onsite by the hirer that have the potential to cause injury or damage is done so at the hirer's own risk.
• Any equipment/structure brought onsite by the hirer that has the potential to cause injury, damage or nuisance to any other person may not be permitted and is at the discretion of Marion Outdoor Pool staff.
• It is the hirers responsibility to check all grounds and change facilities prior to leaving.
• Valuables should not be left in the changing room and do so at their own risk. Lockers are available opposite the Centre reception.
• As the Marion Outdoor Pool is an outdoor facility weather conditions have been considered for the cancellation of events. Events may be cancelled without incurring a cancellation fee in extreme weather events. These are extreme storm conditions, lightning conditions, and when temperatures exceed 38 degrees.
• Acceptance of this booking must be received no later than seven days prior to event by Marion Outdoor Pool Management.
• The hirer is responsible for reporting final attendance numbers for any booking on the day to facility administration by signing the facility booking attendance sheet. If this information is not provided the hirer will be invoiced for the pre-booked attendance numbers provided.
