About Council
Our Regional Public Health Plan (RPHP) is a legislated document under the South Australian Public Health Act 2011 and is one of City of Marion’s higher-level Strategic Management Plans.
The Plan outlines some of the improvements council will make in the next 4 years to support our community to stay healthy and well, in the areas of:
Council’s RPHP must align with the State Public Health Plan (which is currently under review) and be endorsed by the Minister for Health and the Chief Public Health Officer.
The City of Marion Regional Public Health Plan 2025-2029 received its full endorsement in July 2025 and will be reviewed mid-way, in 2027. Progress will be formally reported to SA Health every 2 years.
