Change of name or address

What you need to tell us

All changes of name or address must be submitted to Council in writing. Council cannot accept verbal notification over the phone.

When advising us of your change of address, please be sure to provide the following details:

  • The old and new postal addresses
  • The assessment number for the property
  • The date from which the change is effective

If you are currently receiving your rates notice via email and wish to update your email address, you will need to sign in to Ezybill here and update your Ezybill profile under ‘Account’.

The assessment number is your property identifier and can be found on your rates notice.

New Name Details

Please enter the date on which you would like this changed to be made. Please use the following format - dd/mm/yyyy

If you wish to advise of a change of name, please provide Council with a certified copy of the name change document or marriage certificate. You may upload a scanned copy of this documentation here.

Please supply any further information Council should be aware of.
