Marion Coastal Walk

Stretching 7.2 km from Marino to Hallett Cove, the Marion Coastal Walkway winds through breathtaking cliffs, coves, and rocky shores.

The trail features 2 state of the art suspension bridges, steps and boardwalks – offering unique views of world-famous geological formations and stunning vantage points of our beautiful South Australian coastline.

This walk is best suited for more experienced walkers.

Marino Conservation Park

Once a traditional resting place of the Kaurna Peoples, the Marino Conservation Park now protects the last stands of coastal heath vegetation along Adelaide’s coastline – making it an ideal walking trail for nature lovers.

Follow the 1.4 km winding loop of the Botanical Trail or create your own route by following any of the designated tracks – enjoying breathtaking views of the city skyline, coastline, and Marino Rocks Lighthouse.

This Grade 3 trail is suitable for most ages and fitness levels, and dogs on leads are welcome too.

Glenthorne National Park - Ityamaiitpinna Yarta

Located on Majors Road and home to SA’s biggest nature play space, Glenthorne National - Park Ityamaiitpinna Yarta offers 4 unique walking trails to discover history and nature.

Whether you’re spotting wildlife, trotting on a horse or exploring the park’s rich past, there’s an adventure for everyone.

All trails are Grade 2, suitable for all ages, with no prior hiking experience required.

Sturt River Linear Trail

The scenic shared-use 14.2 km Sturt River Linear Park Trail meanders along this waterway past historic buildings, significant fauna and environmental sites, as well as important local features.

Welcoming pedestrians, cyclists, wheelchairs, prams, and leashed dogs, the trail is open year-round and can be enjoyed in sections or completed in full in around 3 hours.
