About Council
It’s almost time to rewind the clock for Adelaide’s biggest retro party – Concert at the Cove – which is set to bring the Hallett Cove foreshore to life on Saturday.
Thousands are expected to moonwalk back to the 80s, or party like it’s 1999 when some of the biggest hits from eras gone by ring through the City of Marion.
The 2025 edition of Concert at the Cove – a FREE community event - will take place from 3 pm – 8 pm at Heron Way Reserve on Saturday, February 8.
This year’s theme is 80s and 90s and will feature an acoustic duo, a premier Adelaide DJ and a retro 6-piece band.
Local groups, Le Dance Performing Arts and Hallett Cove School Band ‘Colour of Waves’ will kick-off the concert, showcasing some of the best upcoming talent from the City of Marion.
Acoustic duo ‘The Deloreans’ will then take the stage with a set that will include some of the biggest hits from the Yacht Rock era of the 80s.
DJ Manov – who is also the MC for the event – will then hit the decks. He has been a resident DJ at some Adelaide’s biggest bars and clubs and is also booked to play at the international LIV Golf event.
The Retro Allstars – a high energy 80s and 90s band – will then take us through to the end of the evening. Whether you’re belting out Bryan Adams, dancing to Madonna or reliving your ‘90s pop dreams with Christina Aguilera, this band guarantees a set of non-stop fun.
The family-friendly event will also feature a silent disco, arcade games, children’s interactive play areas, face painting, roving performers and much more.
There will be an array of food trucks and the event is fully-licensed with Ortus Wines and the Kombi Crew offering a range of beverages.
