A new nature playground and sheltered picnic tables have been constructed at Mema Court Reserve much to the delight of surrounding residents.

A reserve upgrade for Mema Court Reserve was completed in April 2024. This project is jointly funded by the City of Marion and the Federal Government.

Key items in the upgrade include:
• New Shelters (2)
• Drink fountain
• Seating
• Nature play items
• Additional trees and landscaping

Mayor of Marion Kris Hanna and Member for Kingston Amanda Rishworth officially opened the new play equipment and facilities on Thursday.

The little reserve in Hallett Cove is popular among nearby residents who gather weekly while their children play on the equipment.
