Hessing Crescent Reserve, Trott Park

The City of Marion, in partnership with the Australian Government, has upgraded the playground at Hessing Crescent Reserve which opened in September 2024. Hessing Crescent Reserve in Trott Park surrounds the Trott Park Community Centre. It is a neighbourhood level playground.

• Nature play
• A sensory garden with musical flowers
• Barbeque
• Drink fountain
• Path connections
• Additional trees and garden beds
• Upgraded irrigation system
• Picnic space and seating

The reserve is expansive, running the length of the western end of Hessing Crescent.

An old gum tree greets you at the entrance to the car park. A grove of deciduous trees provide a shady space in summer, overlooking a sloping hill. From here you can see cars and trucks whizz past on the Southern Expressway.

The other end of the reserve is grassy with bench seating.
