Marion City Band Rehearsal Hall, Edwardstown

The Marion City Band Rehearsal Hall is an accessible venue with meeting/all purpose room, functional updated kitchen and bathrooms. The venue is used by the Marion City Band as their rehearsal venue, so some spaces within the facility may not be accessible to external hirers. However the venue is eager to discuss options if a musical group would like to use the dedicated rehearsal studio. There is a public park opposite with playground and separate Dog Park. The venue is on a bus route (Towers Terrace) and within walking distance of train stations (Edwardstown and Woodlands).

Venue Hire

Meeting Room: 85 m2 airconditioned space, with a capacity for 60 people. Amenities include lightweight trestle tables, chairs, and whiteboard (available on request).

Kitchen / server: 9 m2 space, with two microwaves, full stove (electric), and a small fridge for general use. Larger fridge is available on special request. Additional appliances and amenities include coffee pod machine, kettle, crockery, glasses, mugs and cutlery. Recycling bins are provided for appropriate waste management.

Rehearsal Studio (optional for relevant musical hirers): The rehearsal studio is equipped with a range of percussion, music stands and chairs which would be ideal for ensembles up to 30 people.

Availability: The facility is unavailable at the following times, as it is required by the Marion City Band - Monday evenings 6-10pm | Tuesday evenings 6-8pm | Wednesday evenings 5:30 - 10:30pm | Thursday mornings - once a month | Thursday afternoons - twice a month.
