Venues and facilities
The Park Holme Community Hall is on the M44 bus route and is fully air-conditioned. It comprises of a two main spaces (Main Hall and Wallala Room), a small domestic style kitchen (including some crockery/utensils), and toilets.
There is a small car park (4-5 cars) and therefore most users use street parking, although this is limited. The facility is best suited for regular group/club activities (e.g., exercise classes, church services, meetings, choral groups) and is not suitable for parties or gatherings of large numbers of people at which food/beverages will be served.
Cleaning equipment is provided to assist keeping our facility clean and ready for the next group.
Main Hall has a wooden floor and 8m by 8m of useable space. There are chairs for about 40-50 people, a small stage, and a piano. There are roll-away rectangular tables that can seat up to about 40 people.
Wallala Room is a meeting room/break-out room and has roll-away tables set up in board room style. Up to 12 people can be seated at the table with additional seats around the periphery of the room. The room is air-conditioned.
Capacity: Main Hall - 40 - 50 people | Wallala Room - 12 people
Availability: The facility is in regular use thought the week by eight community groups who happily call the facility "home". Regular users have priority use and the hall is available for hire outside of the times used by regular groups.
