Join us for a FREE 6-week workshop designed to help you build financial resilience. Gain practical skills to manage your finances, reduce costs, and access valuable resources on budgeting, housing, groceries, and more.

Workshop Details:
Duration: 6 weeks, Mondays 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm starting 28th April

What to Expect: Learn essential strategies for budgeting, managing household expenses, reducing bills, and accessing community resources.

Included: A light dinner at each session (please let us know of any food allergies when registering)

28th April – Week ONE: Introduction to Cost of Living & Financial Planning
Learn the basics of budgeting, tracking expenses, and reducing costs to take control of your financial future.

5th May – Week TWO: Managing Household Expenses – Energy & Water Bills
Discover practical ways to lower your utility bills and make your home more energy-efficient.

12th May – Week THREE: Zero Interest, No Hidden fees, Genuine Support
Learn how the NILS program can help you access essential items with no-interest loans, avoiding high-interest debt.
Host: The Salvation Army Microfinance Team

19th May – Week FOUR: Having Fun on a Budget
Explore creative ways to enjoy life without overspending, making memorable experiences on a budget.

26th May – Week FIVE: Food Waste, Smart Shopping & Meal Planning
Get tips on reducing food waste, shopping smarter, and planning meals that save money and help the environment.
Host: Zero Waste Kitchen / Slow Food SA

2nd June – Week SIX: Panel Discussion with Local Service Providers
Meet local service providers and learn about valuable community resources available to support your financial journey. Come with curly questions!
