Join us to explore the incredible cooling power of trees - and find out what trees might grow well in your backyard.

Here’s what you can expect at the event:

  • Find out about council’s role in protecting trees and our tree planting programs and initiatives
  • Uncover our local urban hot-spots
  • Discover tree species to plant and other simple outdoor solutions to cool your place
  • Be inspired with Love Our Local Trees project by the Marion Living Smarties (community group)
  • Get hands-on experience with a thermal camera to see the cool factor in action!

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.

This event is part of the Common Thread sustainability series.
