Notice of Works

Elizabeth Ryan Reserve is a local level playground which is scheduled in the Playground Framework to be upgraded. The reserve area has been extended through the purchase of the adjacent property. In 2023 the City of Marion consulted with residents on the playground upgrade. After incorporating resident feedback, the design for the playground was finalised.

The construction of the new playground and associated works is due to commence from

Monday 17 February 2025 which includes removal of existing playground equipment. Works are anticipated to be complete by May 2025, dependent on weather conditions.

Playground and Reserve Upgrade

Elizabeth Ryan Reserve is planned for an upgrade in 2024/2025.

The upgrade will include:

New play equipment
Extended land area (through the purchase of the adjacent property)
Fully fenced reserve
Historical signage
Seating
